ALSA UI E-Comp 2013: High School Section to Get New Champion

A new institution will take the crown in ALSA UI English Competition's high school section after back-to-back title holder #3 SMA 4 Denpasar fell in their quest to score a hat-trick. In the semifinals, darkhorse #10 SMAK Petra 2 from Surabaya edged the reigning champions out to claim a final spot. They will face #1 SMA 1 Denpasar, which eliminated perennial contenders #5 SMA 2 Tangerang Selatan, in the penultimate match later this afternoon. Both finalists have never broken into the knockouts of the ALSA E-Comp, the most prestigious institution-based high school tournament in Indonesia, let alone won it.
