PNUP to Hold BP-Style Makassar Open This Weekend

Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang will run a competition using the British Parliamentary format this weekend called the Makassar Open. The name spells out the location and nature of this tournament. However, while high school  teams and older debaters will clash with each other in the preliminaries, there will be parallel knockout rounds separating the high school students and the rest. In the end, there will be two champions -- high school and non-high school. Registration is still open until November 17 while debates start two days after.
