Binus International outclassed older sibling Binus University to win the
English-as-Foreign-Language final of the
2012 United Asians Debating Championship. #1EFL Binus International A (Caroline Herlina, Jaran Walia, Invi Atmanegara) were too strong for #3EFL Binus A (Cassandra Etania Liem, Radite Adjie, Rivera Kathrin) in the final debate that had the classical motion "This House Supports The Use of Child Labour". Invi also topped the EFL speaker list, Caroline came second and Jaran got third, displaying the team's prominence in that category.
Last year, Universitas Bakrie won the EFL title after defeating London School of Public Relations in another all-Indonesian final. Bakrie's Ammar Syah Anwar took home the best EFL speaker prize.
