The 2015 United Asian Debating Championship will take place in Bali after the bid made by debaters from Jakarta-based Binus University and their Balinese partner Universitas Udayana received council approval. The ones taking the vital posts in the organizing committee will come from Binus, which has sent debaters to major international competitions for years, while Udayana, which has a thin debating track record, will provide the venue and army of volunteers.
The council also selected members of the adjudication core for UADC 2105, including Universitas Indonesia's Boby Ruitang. The panel will be speaeheaded by Kelvin Chong from National University of Singapore who championed the 2012 Asian British Parliamentary Debating Championship, the last major international tournament held in Indonesia.
