Southeast Asian English Olympics Debates Start with 62 Teams

The Southeast Asian English Olympics debates began today at Universitas Bina Nusantara with 62 varsity and high school teams joining the British Parliamentary-style tournament, including teams from Malaysia and Thailand. High school and varsity teams are not separated in this competition that boasts star adjudicators like Sam Block, the Chief Adjudicator of WUDC 2012, and veteran debating coach Omar Salahuddin from Malaysia. The final will be held at @america in Pacific Place on February 19.
