IndoDebate's Debater of the Year list for July will go public only after the 15th Java Overland Varsities English Debate that is currently taking place until July 26. Up until now, results from NUEDC, Australs and Bawor Cup, which just ended 2 days ago, have been calculated but the June list will stay up for a few more days.
JOVED results will absolutely bring more changes to the scoreboard, rendering the provisional list a very short life if it goes up now. The absence of tournaments right after JOVED due to Ramadan provides time for the DOTY list to stay current for a long period from the end of July. Moreover, many list leaders will compete in JOVED and an up-to-date release may exacerbate the halo effect that is already building around them.
